Since our founding in 1997, East Bay Logistics has grown from a regional provider of cocoa bean storage to a leader in logistics and warehousing solutions across multiple industries. Today, we proudly support a wide range of products, including coffee, sugar, grains, solar panels, and construction materials, while offering advanced value-added services like sugar and cocoa butter melting. John Visbal

John Visbal founded East Bay Logistics in 1997, beginning with cocoa bean storage in the Bay Area for the company’s first client, Ghirardelli Chocolate Company. John continues to lead East Bay Logistics’ growth across the United States while expanding into new products like coffee, solar panels, construction equipment, and value-added services like sugar and coconut butter melting.

Thomas Pasinger

Chief Operating Officer

Thomas has been in food manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, product development and strategy development roles for 35+ years. He has worked for large public companies such as The Quaker Oats Company and Starbucks Coffee Company as well as mid-size privately held companies including S&D Coffee.

In March 2023, he joined East Bay Logistics as the Chief Operating Officer and Advisory Board Member. Thomas is a well-rounded senior leader with a proven track record for strategy development and results.

Vick Anand, CPA (Active)

Chief Financial Officer

Vick Anand joined the company to drive financial transformation, leading a reorganization of the Accounting and Finance department. As CFO, he manages critical functions, including cash management, accounting controllership, tax, regulations, financial reporting, and business strategy execution.

Dan Arata

Director of Operations

Before East Bay Logistics, Dan Arata held leadership roles in operations and fulfillment for UPS, Starbucks, and Amazon. Dan joined East Bay Logistics in 2022, bringing over 20 years of experience in logistics and fulfillment leadership in the warehousing and distribution sector.

Dan leads East Bay Logistics Operations and Business Development where he is responsible for all aspects of Operations from Staffing to Operational Excellence. Dan fosters relationships with customers to meet their needs, building strong dynamic and efficient operations that grow business and strengthen operations for the future.
